As the in-house graphic designer at Mitchell Digital, I designed this cookbook for Vancouver College parent group Mothers Christmas Tea.
The client was looking for help putting together a commemorative cookbook design that showcases recipes submitted by the families and staff at Vancouver college. They supplied their own photos of the recipes they made, which I edited for cohesion. They also wanted to include some children’s drawings. These were scanned and vectorized to use throughout the layouts – very cute!
This book was designed to be digitally printed and perfect bound. I created a colourful custom pattern for the covers, and used the Vancouver College colour palette within the book. Sections and informational pages are styled for quick navigation and ease or reading.
Client was so excited with the results! I have made a few recipes from the book that are amazing!
