Overview
Mitchell Press has a long-standing focus on sustainable print production, supported by certifications, environmental reporting, reforestation programs and ongoing operational initiatives. My role was to help translate this information into clear, credible marketing communications that customers could understand and use.
I developed content across web, social, email and print, including educational blog articles, campaign messaging, data-driven graphics and supporting sales materials. The work focused on making complex sustainability information more accessible while maintaining accurate, accountable messaging and avoiding broad environmental claims.
Collaboration: Worked with Mitchell’s Sustainability Specialist and internal teams to translate environmental data, certifications and program information into customer-facing marketing communications.
Sustainability Platform & Website

I developed the initial structure and Figma wireframe for Mitchell’s Sustainability page, bringing together environmental programs, certifications and supporting data into a more accessible customer-facing resource.
Working from information provided by the Sustainability Specialist, I organized the content and established the page hierarchy and user flow. I then collaborated with my coworker Glen to refine the visual design and translate the wireframe into the final website experience.
PrintReleaf Education & Customer Resources
I worked with Mitchell’s Sustainability Specialist to turn Mitchell’s sustainability initiatives and PrintReleaf program information into clear, customer-facing resources that could support education, sales conversations and ongoing client engagement.
I designed a range of materials including a PrintReleaf overview brochure, customer portal guide and sustainability tip sheets for different audiences. The content was adapted into accessible, branded formats that helped explain how the program worked, how customers could track their impact and how sustainability information could be shared with their own audiences.

Print One, Plant One Direct Mail Campaign
In May 2024, I worked with Mitchell’s Sustainability Specialist to develop a direct mail campaign introducing and promoting the PrintReleaf program. I developed the creative strategy, messaging structure and variable content based on recipient type, including customers who already had PrintReleaf impact data and prospects or clients who had not yet participated in the program.
I prepared the variable address and message setup, coordinated mailing lists with the Sales team, and worked with Mitchell’s in-house Mailing Data Manager to validate the data and confirm mailing costs. I also managed the internal approval process and incorporated a tracked QR code to connect the printed piece with a digital landing page.

Customer Advocacy & Co-Marketing

I developed a co-marketing initiative that gave customers ready-to-share social content celebrating their PrintReleaf milestones. The goal was to help clients communicate their environmental impact while also extending visibility for the PrintReleaf program and Mitchell’s sustainability efforts.
I created co-branded milestone assets for achievements such as 250, 500, 750 and 1,000 trees planted, supplying both static and video formats sized for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X. The content was designed to be easy for customers to post directly on their own channels, reducing the effort required for them to share their results.
BUILD Magazine was one customer that shared the supplied milestone content publicly, demonstrating real-world adoption of the campaign.
Content Marketing & Data Storytelling

I developed sustainability-focused content for Mitchell’s website and marketing channels, translating environmental programs, industry information and internal data into accessible stories for customers and prospects.
This included writing and publishing educational blog content, developing supporting social media creative, and turning complex project data into clear visual communications. For client-facing projects such as the AMA sustainability proposal, I organized environmental metrics and production information into concise narratives, graphics and data points designed to support informed print procurement decisions.

Selected pages from a client proposal developed to communicate environmental and production data in a clear, decision-friendly format.

I wrote and published a series of articles to help customers better understand Mitchell’s sustainability initiatives, while building out the website’s educational content and supporting ongoing SEO around sustainable print topics.
